Tonight I'm camping in a Walmart parking lot in Parker, Arizona. Tomorrow I'm off to the Rubber Tramp Rendezvous in Quartzite.
Hundreds upon hundreds of passionate nomads! I'm excited, but also leery of getting bored or overwhelmed and moving on. I seem to do that a lot.
Anyway, I'm going to learn, and I know I have a lot to learn. Just getting there has been educational, with dealing with the cold. I got the RV winterized so there is no water and I'm using a little Campa Potti. So there's that -- dumping, using public restrooms and showers, etc. I'm hoping to get a lot of information at the RTR!
I'm also going to meet people I've learned a ton from online, and already have crossed paths with Nomadic Fanatic! So that aspect will be fun.
Today I've been cultivating down-time. After a shower and laundry and shopping and fixing the bathroom door. Living on the road can be busy and dull in the same day. I guess all of life can be, huh?
